Find an edge in stock picking through alternative data

The alternative data here is r/wallstreetbets (WSB): the internet's loudest stock forum. Every once in a while, a life-changing stock idea shows up there months before the market moves. The problem is the noise around it. This app removes the noise.

Why should it work?

Because it already has, repeatedly. The pattern: the idea was posted on WSB, in detail, months early. Almost nobody noticed in time, because it was buried.

  • GME 20x: u/DeepFuckingValue made the case for GameStop for over a year while being laughed at. A month before the squeeze, WSB conviction was high and many who followed entered around $20. Weeks later the January 2021 squeeze peaked at $483.
  • PLTR 10x: WSB's Palantir crowd was pounding the table at $10-25 in 2020-21, got mocked through the 2022 drop to $6, and the stock became one of the market's biggest winners since, up more than 10x from those entries.
  • MRNA 5x: a user called the Moderna bottom at $27.50 in December 2025. Finance professionals explained in the comments why he was wrong. He posted three follow-up DDs; by August 2026 the stock passed $140, a 5x in eight months. You can see the whole series pinned on the chart on this app's MRNA page.

Honest caveat: WSB also pushed a thousand losers. The app doesn't pick winners. It surfaces the ideas early, so that judging is your job and missing them isn't.

How it works

  • We pull all WSB posts, continuously.
  • AI reads each post and tags it: real stock idea (DD), news, meme, gain/loss screenshot, short-term play. Only signal is kept.
  • What survives is pinned to each stock's price chart, with authors and multi-part series tracked.
  • You star the stocks you hold and the spaces you care about.

The pages

  • Trending: which stocks the crowd is talking about right now. The buzz number counts DD posts, distinct authors, upvotes and comments, and fades away after about a week of silence. It measures attention, not price.
  • Prospects: a feed of individual thesis posts. Read one, tap through to Reddit if it hooks you.
  • Stock pages (tap any ticker): one year of price, with every WSB post pinned on the day it was published. You can see whether the crowd was early, late, or wrong.
  • ★ Interests: the stocks you hold and the spaces you care about, say AI infrastructure or defense drones. This is what powers the stars and the "since yesterday" line.

Words you'll meet

  • DD ("due diligence"): a post where someone makes a researched case for a stock. The main thing this app hunts for.
  • Q score (0-10): how strong the post's case is. Real numbers, catalysts, counterpoints. Judged by AI. It rates the case, not whether it's right.
  • +X% since DD: how the stock moved since its first DD post appeared here.
  • <3mo play: a short-term options bet. Shown crossed out and never counted as a real thesis.
